Please go to the main office to check your student out of school early. Allow ten minutes for the checkout process.
Students are not excused from school or may not leave campus unless their reason for leaving is verified by office staff in person by the parent/guardian or person listed as the student’s emergency contact(s). Parents/guardians will need to sign students out in the checkout log. Your student will not be released to ANY person NOT listed, and ANY person picking up the student will need to present a photo ID (i.e. driver’s license).
Unless there is an urgent reason, parents/guardians are encouraged to make appointments for medical or dental work, music or dance lessons, and/or family vacations at hours which do not conflict with normal school time.

Every Utah public school has a School Community Council (SCC) that consists of the principal, school employees, and parents. The council is responsible for reviewing and proposing ideas for plans each year, including the School Improvement and LAND Trust Plans. School budgets, staffing, safety, and discipline school programs, calendars, and schedules are all discussed in SCC Meetings. Parents can also raise issues of concern to the council.

The PowerSchool Parent Portal is a powerful online tool to obtain information about your student’s academic progress. You will be able to review your student’s schedule, grades, and attendance from any computer that has internet accessibility. The second week of school we provide you with the link to a username and password. Please remember that these should be kept confidential for the protection of your student’s personal information. If for some reason you are having problems, contact the front office and we will be happy to assist you.
Parents: If you are new to the Parent Portal, you must create an account to access student information. If you have previously created an account, you do not need to create another account, just use your same username and password.
If you do not receive a letter with your student’s information, please call and verify your address with the front office at 801-578-8118. We will be able to email or mail you a new letter.
